WHAT DOES "REKEY" MEAN?

That's not a word I hear very often.

"Rekey" is another way of saying, "change the locks."

Rekeying is not replacing the hardware- it changes the inside of your locks and conforms them to a different key.

This makes your old key not work and gives you a fresh start with a shiny new set of keys!
